Our men’s journey began in 2022 with touch rugby; a simple start that ignited a dream. From those early games, the Majestics men have fought through every challenge with heart and hunger.
We battled through our first rugby league 9s tournament, then entered our debut rugby league 13s competition and finished 3rd ; a statement of intent. One of our own went on to join the national rugby league team, carrying our pride to the highest stage. He also got a call up in the National Team that participated in the MEA Championship. Three additional players were called to participate in the Origins Cup.
2023 tested our resolve. When a new team took away most of our players, we refused to crumble. We rebuilt, loaned players to Nungua Tigers and watched them thrive, earning player of match and national call-ups and proving that true talent always rises.
In 2024, we roared back: finishing 4th in the rugby league 13s, competing in Rugby Union 7s for the first time and reaching the top 6, debuting in 15s and taking 5th in the rugby league 9s. One player made it to the national union side, another proud Majestics moment.
2025 marked another leap forward; from GARA 7s to the Regional and National 7s and a 3rd-place finish at the Cape Coast 10s. Each step, each game, tells a story of brotherhood, belief and the Majestics never-quit spirit.
From a humble beginning in 2022 with a simple touch rugby match, our women’s team has become a powerful symbol of resilience and ambition. What began as curiosity and courage soon transformed into a movement; a group of women proving that rugby has no limits.
In 2023, two of our players who were on loan at Nungua Tigers were selected to represent Ghana’s national rugby league team, a monumental achievement that fuelled our determination. By 2024, we made our first appearance in a rugby league 9s contact tournament and later that year, debuted in rugby union. Though we had to loan players to other teams due to limited numbers, the Majestics spirit still shone brightly across every pitch we touched.
Our women continue to embody strength, growth, and the unbreakable belief that barriers are meant to be broken. The journey has just begun and every match tells a story of courage, teamwork, and progress.
The heartbeat of our academy lies in the youth, the dreamers, the learners, the future. Our youth journey began in partnership with Firm Foundation, stepping onto the field for the first time in 2022. They made an instant impact, finishing 2nd in their debut touch rugby match, rugby league 9s, and rugby league 13s tournaments.
Though that partnership ended later in 2022 due to external interference, our spirit didn’t fade. We started afresh, building a new youth team rooted in the Majestics philosophy of discipline, passion and purpose.
By 2024, our young athletes were back in competition, claiming 2nd place in the rugby league 9s and showing the bright future of Ghanaian rugby. These are not just players; they are future leaders, nurtured through mentorship, teamwork and the Majestics culture of excellence.
Currently, some of our youth players have graduated to the senior side and they are doing exceptionally well.
